A marvelous bleached mahogany dining room set comprising an oval dining table and 6 chairs designed by Harvey Probber in the 1950s. The wood on all of the pieces in the set is a combination of solid and veneered mahogany that has a beautiful bleached color. The six chairs (two armchairs and four side chairs) retain the original caned back sections and have been new reupholstered in a vibrantly patterned cotton material. The dining table has sabre legs and two additional 12" leaves. The dimensions shown in the listing are for the table in the closed position. With leaves inserted, the size goes from 56" to 68" with one leaf and to 80" with both leaves. The dimensions of the side chairs are W. 22.5" D. 20" H. 35.5" (seat height crowns to 20"). The dimensions of the two armchairs are the same except the width is 22" for each. The table and chairs are sold only as a set.

Condition
EXCELLENT. The chairs have been re-polished and reupholstered; the table and leaves have been refinished to match.
