"Transect" is a contemporary tabletop sculpture by American artists Brenda and Del Williams, circa 2017. A gilt metal framework surrounds seven intersected enamel plaques that were handmade by the artists in their studio. The vibrant colors and "shattered" pattern reference a stained glass window.
