Solid Stained Pine Taboret Table by Contemporary American Artist Daniel Pollock

$0.00

An ebony-stained solid pine wood taboret by contemporary American artist Daniel Pollock. Dan hand-selected this sculptural piece of reclaimed pine wood that has been dried and chip-carved on its sides, while highlighting the top grain. The fissure that runs down one side is held together with dowels and the bottom is carved to create his trademark implied feet that raise it up slightly from the floor. This sculptural piece evokes a Japanese aesthetic in its color and execution and it into devotion to the beauty of natural materials. As with all of Dan's pieces, the wood is placed in an oven at 400 degrees, then stained and finished with a clear coat for protection. The piece is signed and dated by the artist on the underside.

Dimensions: H. 22.5” W. 19” D. 16.5”
