A 1960s chrome-plated steel card table with a Macassar ebony flip-top in the style of Milo Baughman. The top slides within the metal framework and flips open to reveal a wildly grained Macassar ebony surface the will accommodate four to six people. The design of the table is minimal but was fabricated using very high quality materials. There is an original lacquered finish on the wooden top that is in virtually perfect condition. The chrome-plated legs show minor signs of wear. The dimensions in the listing are for the table in the closed position.
When the top if flipped open, the length is 72". The table would be dramatic used as a desk in the open position.
