A rare circular side table with a carved "corkscrew"column support designed by Dutch designer Johan Tapp for his furniture company, Tapp Inc. Circa 1940s. The round top and plinth base is veneered in walnut parquetry and the column is carved from laminated pieces of solid walnut. The table is branded on the bottom with the Tapp Inc. logo. The table has been newly refinished and is in excellent, ready-to-go condition.
