An extraordinary custom manufactured acrylic and nickel plated brass bed attributable to Italian furniture designer Marcello Mioni and dating to the 1980's. This bed was removed from a home in Rancho Mirage that was decorated by a designer who used only the most extraordinary furnishings. The headboard, bed rails and bolsters are newly upholstered in a silvery grey, high quality, hand-selected leather. The bed was completely disassembled with all parts replated and restored. In every aspect, this bed is of the highest quality. The complete dimensions of this bed are as follows: 89" long x 87" wide. Headboard height is 54" tall. The highest post is 52" tall. The lowest post is 36.5" tall. The bolsters are 11" in diameter and approximately 42" long each. The bed fully disassembles for shipping and the post caps and feet are easily removable. The bed requires an "eastern king" size mattress..

Condition
Excellent. There is a chip to an edge of one lucite post that fits into a metal footing. It cannot be seen unless the foot is removed.
