An amazing Lucite framed queen sized sleigh bed with solid brass fittings, attributed to Italian furniture designer Marcello Mioni, c. 1980. The bent Lucite pieces that frame the headboard and footboard have a frosted line detail that accentuates the curvaceous nature of the sleigh form. The bed has been newly reupholstered in a fine quality white vinyl material and can be left that way or easily changed to your choice of fabrics. The bed was designed so that the mattress and box spring floats inside of the the bed frame, without attaching to the sides. All of the lucite pieces have been professionally polished and the brass work is in original, excellent condition. The interior dimensions of the frame are 64" wide and 91" long. The bed was obtained from an estate in New Jersey that was designed in 1980, along with other high quality, designer furnishings.
