A rare and beautifully crafted cerused French Oak dining table with six chairs and two self contained and concealed leaf extensions that mechanically slide out and maneuver into position at either end of the table, circa 1940's. Designed by renowned French designer Charles Dudouyt (1885-1946) , the dining table has classic Dudouyt styling with angle set legs in a sabre shape and decorative accent lozenges and moulding on the sides of the table. The chairs are playfully presented with a lovely rope detailing inset across the splat back and new leather upholstery on the seats. The dining table is 60 1/2" long. It is 89" long with the extensions pulled open. The chairs are 17.5" wide and 20" deep. They are 32" tall at the back with a seat height if 18 1/2". This group cannot be split up.
