A fantastic trio of oak and pine Mid-Century swiveling bar-height stools with brass footrests. The circular seat is supported by a threaded column which allow the seats to swivel. The "threaded" upright columns are decorative...the seats do not change height. The legs are doweled into a center platform and affixed with screws at the points where the brass rail meets the lower platform. The stools are composed of simple and "rustic" materials and fit into the category of eccentric hand-made and relaxed Mid-Century furnishings. Of interesting note, the stools were acquired from the Palm Springs home of Rock Hudson. We acquired them from a gentleman who was a personal friend of Rock Hudson's.
