A chic pair of Italian walnut and natural parchment lyre form bedside cabinets from the late 1940's. Stylistically, there is a reference to the earlier Art Deco Period but the lyre form of the cabinets is looking forward to the type of Mid Century Neoclassicism that was embraced in Europe after World War II. The natural colored parchment surfaces are original and have a perfect amount of patination. The cabinets are a true "left and right" for easy access and the door pulls are a gold toned metal. The genuine parchment doors and tops are complemented with faux parchment painted backs on this pair.
