A strikingly handsome pair of mid 20th century upholstered lounge chairs with wrap-around walnut bases attributed to designer Adrian Pearsall. This pair has the peculiarly engaging angled tall backs that many of Pearsall's designs exhibit. The light-colored walnut frame wraps around the bottom, hugging the curve of the chair. Newly reupholstered in a cream colored thick-piled cotton fabric, with the finish on frames also being restored. These chairs are generously proportioned and are incredibly comfortable.
