Pair of Faux Marble Resin Tables
Pair of Faux Marble Resin Tables
A glamorous and sophisticated pair of 1970's graphic Italian cube-form side tables composed of resin covered enamel lacquers over a wooden substrate that are painted to resemble marble. The intricacy of the painted surface is amazing and fools the eye into believing that it is not faux but is actually marble. The colors used on the tables are all neutrals...gray, brown and cream and could fit into most any interior. The pair of tables is raised on a discreet recessed base that is a recent addition. The tables are attributed to an Italian company named Ceccarplast that popularized this technique in the 1970s and 1980s.
Condition
Excellent, wear consistent with age and use.
