An extraordinarily handsome Italian bar cabinet/sideboard in lacquered, book matched and figured rosewood C.1960. Attributed to Saporiti. The rosewood lined bar/desk is revealed with a drop down locked door in the center of the piece above a bank of six small drawers. The two flanking side cabinets are covered in a gorgeous sage green faux suede, which are framed in metal and when open, reveal rosewood lined interiors and shelves. The original chromed pulls are present. The entire back side is also surprisingly finished in book matched, figured rosewood. The entire cabinet rests on a distinguished architectural brushed steel sculptural base. The extraordinary quality of this piece speaks for itself in both design and materials.
