A monumental vintage ceramic floor vase signed J.W. '94. This extraordinary vessel was acquired from an estate in Palm Desert, California that was designed by Steve Chase. Chase often employed studio ceramicists to create custom pieces for his client's homes. Ceramic pieces of this scale are difficult to build and this one is a testament to the skill of the ceramicist. We have not been able to identify the artist who's initials are J.W. As a side note: Steve Chase passed away in 1994, the year that this vase was made.
