A strikingly handsome rosewood eight drawer chest by John Kapel for Glenn of California, 1950's. The attractive scoop handles are offset by black trim. The chest rests on a black plinth base which complements the black trim on the drawers, thereby unifying the piece and giving it definition. The upper drawer has a Glenn of California button label( see pictures).
