A solid cottonwood taboret by contemporary American artist Daniel Pollock. The artist hand-selected this sculptural piece of reclaimed cottonwood that has been dried and then carved with subtle indentations on sides. The wood is then placed in an oven at 400 degrees which created the fissures on the top, then stained and finished with a clear coat for protection. The piece is signed and dated by the artist on the underside. Perfect for use as a side table or as extra seating.
