A fabulous four-drawer Art Deco style chest, covered in authentic stingray skin (shagreen) by the French company, R & Y Augousti, circa 2000. The shagreen pieces are affixed to a mahogany substrate in a tessellated pattern, with the remnant of the dorsal fin (white area) in the center of each. The color of the skin is slightly darker than shown in the photographs.
