One of a series of rondo wall sculptures produced by California artist Del Williams, 2013. Hand made glass and steel star bursts are layered and incorporated into a circular metal frame in an asymmetrical pattern. The entire sculpture has been gold leafed on both the front and rear. The glass at the center of each star was created by Del and Brenda Williams in their studio. This particular rondo has glass that is clear with orange and yellow details. The photos show the sculpture mounted on a wall but the sculpture was created and finished so that it could be hung and viewed from the front and rear. Additionally, there is a lip on the front of the frame work that would allow for the sculpture to be set into a wall and again, viewed from both sides.
